The very famous slogan has a greater relevance irrespective of the period or the type of business. The slogan popularized maybe during the early period of industrialization but the same concept is still teaching in every business schools even to the generation z students. The ultimate purpose of every business is to earn a profit, but none of them can move forward without satisfying their clients. The term "the customer is always right " directly points out to customer satisfaction in any circumstances. The same concept was used worldwide with little differences to the actual meaning, In Germany, it is " the customer is never wrong " or " the customer is the king " and in Japan, the slogan is explained as " the customer is a god ". Why these quotes are important, is customer satisfaction is really required when the product quality is high? The answer is yes product quality, price, promotion and placement can achieve a competitive edge on competitors., However acquiring a customer and retaining them as loyal one throughout the long run is a very complex task.
The term points out that during a grievance or feedback make clients are more comfortable by accepting their points, considering their requirements, and providing value for their money. Loyal customers always help firms to expand their market. A single word of a customer can generate sales more effectively than highly paid media advertisements. Creating customer satisfaction in every transaction is a very complex task, the needs, behavior, budget, and attitude of customers are never found similar, but if we analyze purchasing behavior, we can classify potential customers and achieve customer satisfaction by matching their needs. Companies should balance product quality and customer contentment. Satisfaction can be crashed even through flimsy reasons like the behaviour of the low-level employee, or the delivery time etc. The only way to cope with these issues is by providing strong customer grievance cells and support in any situation. No matter the business is dealing with a product or service, online or offline customers are the most important person who can develop an organization.
